The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is providing a virtual training program that will review the updated guidance for the IRF-PAI 4.0 and the LCDS 5.0 for providers in the IRF and LTCH settings.
Part 1 of the Virtual Training Program is now available. The recorded training session videos deliver foundational knowledge necessary to understand the new items and guidance*. The videos are intended to be reviewed in advance of the live event. If you are registered for the event, you will receive access information via email.
Part 2 will take place on June 15–16, 2022 and consists of live, virtual workshop sessions that will provide coding practice on the items covered in the Part 1 videos. These live sessions will take place each day between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. ET.
*CMS will post the Section D: Patient Mood Interview and Total Severity Score training at a later date. Please continue to track this site for updates.
