Join CDC’s Project Firstline during National Nursing Assistants Week from June 15-21, 2023, to celebrate and recognize Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) across the nation who show an “unstoppable” commitment to providing quality care to their patients and residents.
CNAs are skilled, integral members of the healthcare team, and we thank them for continuing to serve on the frontlines each day. CNAs champion infection prevention and control through their commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all patients and residents.
Because the care that CNAs provide makes healthcare possible, it’s important they have access to the infection control information they need and deserve. Project Firstline is happy to provide free, accessible infection control training and educational resources to support CNAs in further building their infection control knowledge, so they can continue make a difference in people’s lives.
