The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) is migrating MDS submissions and reporting to a new system, the internet Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (iQIES) beginning April 17, 2023. iQIES will replace the current Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (QIES). All skilled nursing facilities will be required to transition to iQIES to continue to submit Minimum Data Set (MDS) information to CMS.
This webinar will assist providers in understanding what steps need to be taken to transition to the new system and successfully submit the MDS after April 17.
