I have an update on my post 2 days ago regarding the CMS update of the LTCSP documents and files.
I reached out to CMS after comparing the “Appendix PP – added 2018 revision” to the November 22, 2017 version. In short, they told me that the identification of 2018 for Appendix PP (and by extension, revision as well) was a “typo”.
The latest version of Appendix PP is the November 22, 2017 version. CMS included Appendix PP into the Survey Resources with Staff Vaccine Documents Folder with this May update. Also added were the latest versions of Appendix Z (Emergency Preparedness for All Provider and Certified Supplier Types) and Chapter 7 (Survey and Enforcement Process for Skilled Nursing Facilities and Nursing Facilities).
