Latest COVID-19 Data: CMS, CDC and NHSN

CMS has posted nursing home data for the week ending October 10, 2021.

This latest data set shows these changes from the October 3^rd data set:

Resident vaccination increased 0.5% from the previous week
Staff vaccination increased 1.4% from the previous week
Resident confirmed cases increased 4,016 from the previous week
Staff confirmed cases increased 4,623 from the previous week
An additional 527 resident deaths from the previous week
An additional 32 staff deaths from the previous week (that’s nearly double from the previous week)
