State-Only Webinar: ‘Healthy People, Healthy States: Promising Practices to Address Health Disparities’

State health policymakers are prioritizing strategies to understand and mitigate differences in health outcomes. To support state officials efforts, NASHP has developed “Healthy People, Healthy States: Promising Practices to Address Health Disparities,” a resource guide that describes state innovations to reduce health disparities.

‘Healthy People, Healthy States: Promising Practices to Address Health Disparities’ explores three key levers for addressing health disparities:

  • Data-driven approaches to policy making
  • Population-based approaches that build on state-local partnerships driving community-led efforts and building trust
  • Transformative statewide strategies that reshape government business practices and financing approaches.

This webinar will discuss the state activities highlighted in ‘Healthy People, Healthy States: Promising Practices to Address Health Disparities’ and provide context for how these strategies can be utilized in state health policy and strategic planning, as well as input from states whose innovations are referenced in the guide.

Please note: This webinar is open to state officials only.

Monday, June 12, 3:30–4:45 p.m. ET
