Join us Wednesday, October 19 from 12-1 pm CT to outline the roles and responsibilities of incident command response and the role it plays in emergency preparedness planning.

Following this event, participants will be able to define and classify the response phases and impediments to care of mass casualty disasters; describe the process of emergency planning; and discuss the common pitfalls during disasters.

Brian Feist, BSN, RN, Emergency Preparedness Clinical Subject Matter Expert & Lead. Brian is certified as a Disaster Management Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Trauma Nursing Core Course Director and Instructor, Advance Trauma Life Support Coordinator, Rural Trauma Team Development Course Coordinator and Instructor, Stop the Bleed Instructor, Basic Life Support Provider and Instructor, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider, and holds FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700 certifications.

Audience:

Nursing home administrators and medical control (physicians) also including DON/RN/LPN, community leaders, or anyone who plays a role in their disaster management teams. This would also benefit new employees onboarding as an introduction to emergency planning.
