NAHQ finds inspiration in the heroic work healthcare professionals pursue every day. It renews the commitment to our members and the healthcare community at large, empowering us to provide impactful tools and resources to align the profession — so we all move forward together … soaring to new heights.

NAHQ resources support professionals in all phases of their journey in quality from those new to the profession utilizing tools such as NAHQ Concepts and HQ Principles, to those striving to earn the gold-standard Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality® (CPHQ) credential. You can learn more about the only accredited certification in healthcare quality when you join us for our upcoming CPHQ® Info Session on Wednesday, February 24 from 12–1 pm CT. If you know anyone aspiring to become a CPHQ, invite them to join as well.

NAHQ remains dedicated to serving as the professional home for individual healthcare professionals, but in order to make the changes needed in healthcare on a larger scale and more quickly, we must continue to collaborate with higher education institutions and healthcare organizations in this journey.

Here is how we are making connections at these levels:

  • Participating at the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) International Forum, taking place through June 30. Attendees can visit the NAHQ booth with several resources and easily request additional information.
  • Working with health systems to provide solutions to equip teams to address today’s challenges.
  • Collaborating with higher education institutions to hardwire NAHQ content into their curriculum.
  • Introducing Workforce AcceleratorTM, our new enterprise-level offering to assess your quality workforce and design plans for upskilling that aligns to NAHQ’s industry-standard, twice-validated Healthcare Quality Competency Framework and your organization’s quality and safety priorities.

The collective work we do on a daily basis, and the planning underway to continually improve processes and outcomes within our organizations … give me great hope for even brighter days ahead.

Thank you for all you do every day. Be well and stay safe.
