The APSF president, Daniel Cole, MD, chose to focus this year on “Emerging Medical Technologies—A Patient Safety Perspective on Wearables, Big Data and Remote Care.” On September 11, the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) had its virtual meeting where it reviewed quality and safety of healthcare.
